Behind every good cake shop is a team of committed and talented bakers. And ours at The Classic Cupcake Co. are simply the best!
The team start baking at 6am every day, when many of us are only just hitting the snooze button. By 10am they've already produced anywhere up to 800 cupcakes for the shop window and customer orders.
It's World Baking Day on the 17th May and we would like to celebrate our team with you. These are the 5 women whose culinary magic caters for all your celebrations throughout the year.
Anna founded the business 10 years ago, using recipes passed down from her Grandmother. In the business' early days she did all the baking herself, and even now she's often found tweaking new recipes in the kitchen, or up to her elbows in cake batter.

Irene has been with The CCC for 5 years now. She started out with us as quiet as a mouse.... a shy student from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute. But now, as our Lead Baker, she's running the kitchen and training everyone else so that we produce the best cupcakes & cakes every day of the week. Irene also takes all of our Private Masterclasses, if anyone out there is interested in learning from the best!

Natalia (Nati) was also a Le Cordon Bleu student who came to us for her industry placement in 2019. We LOVED her so much that we never let her go. She's so very talented, and even more humble. And in her spare time she loves nothing more than learning new skills off YouTube!

Erica only joined us about 6 months ago, but was already set to take the reins this Mother's Day while Irene and Nati were away. And boy did she rise to the challenge! She's a fast learner, and a hard worker. We're very lucky to have her on our team.

Ela is a high school student who loves the world of baking and learning from the professionals. She comes after school 2 days per week to assist the bakers and is fast becoming our esteemed apprentice!
