This private masterclass will cover everything you need to know to deliver perfect CakePOPs time after time.

Learn from our Lead Baker as you make the perfect CakePOP sponge from scratch, then coat and decorate your CakePOP creations with Belgian chocolate. 

CakePOPs are versatile delicacies which add a delightful and mouth watering twist to any celebration or sweet display. 

Class includes:

  • The perfect ‘POP’ sponge
  • All recipe sheets provided to take home
  • How to properly prepare cakePOPs
  • How to use Belgian chocolate for cakePOPs
  • Dipping cakePOPs – the professional techniques
  • Simple decorating techniques including sprinkles and the CCC lines
  • Creating decorations using chocolate moulds
  • Learn how to make delicate decorations using sugar craft tools and paint brushes to bring each creation to life
  • CakePOP tips & tricks
  • How to achieve the perfect dip!
  • Handouts with recipes
  • Your own reusable CCC box to take your creations away in

Please note, this class is currently only available from 12:30am on Mondays, and 2pm on Fridays. Saturday afternoons are occasionally available but must be booked several weeks in advance.

Booking valid for 6 months from date of purchase.

Class Size: Minimum 3 students, Maximum 16

Skill Level: Basic to Intermediate
Age: 16+ (no children please)
Class Duration: 1.5 - 2 Hours

Course Location
This class takes place at The Classic Cupcake Co Baking Academy (Shop 1 / 142 Spit Road, Mosman, NSW 2088).

Residential street parking is available all around our venue. There is also a small private car park right behind the building and a public car park on Stanton Road (off Northbound Spit Road). If you are travelling by public transport, catch the 144 bus to/from Chatswood, or the 172 & 173 to/from Wynyard.

Equipment
The class price includes all materials, recipes and handouts, all sugarcraft tools, equipment and of course, your box of CakePOPs to take home.

Kitchen Attire & Code of Conduct
You are required to wear solid, comfortable shoes with closed toes and no high heels. We advise not wearing warm and bulky clothing as you may get hot during the class. Due to health & safety regulations you are required to have your hair neatly tied back at all times and wear a face mask throughout the class. It is also recommended that you wear an apron.

Making A Booking
Please email academy@theccc.com.au to enquire over availability on the dates of your choice. Payment for your class can be made here or an invoice will be sent directly to you. Payment in full is required to secure your booking.

We require 7 days notice to reschedule your class date.  There is a $100 administration fee per booking for the class to be rescheduled.

Please note that if you do not attend your booking, you will forfeit your booking and will not be entitled to a refund.

Course attendees will also receive 10% discount on all items purchased in the shop on the day of class.
